Richmond Lenox E.M.S. in partnership with SMART, provides daily shuttle service from New Haven to 23 Mile Rd & Gratiot. Passengers may board at one of the many stops listed below. Passengers can transfer to SMART Route 560 at Gratiot & 23 Mile Road.

Richmond Lenox E.M.S. provides a door to door transportation service for area residents that need assistance getting to medical appointments, medical procedures, banking, nutritional trips and personal business.
Our staff is trained in First Aid and CPR and will assist you from your door to the vehicle and transport you safely to your destination and unload and assist you inside. While there is no charge for our service we do accept donations.
Appointments may be scheduled up to six weeks in advance with a minimum of 48 hours in advance, appointments are available on a first come first serve basis. Pick up times are scheduled in a timely manner however we expect residents to be ready approx ten minutes prior to pick up time given. Our service operates much like a public transit system and may involve picking up multiple residents going in the same direction near the same time. This type of routing provides us the necessary economies of scale to serve the greatest number of residents on a very limited budget. This service also results in the need for residents and their families to remain flexible and patient when utilizing our public transit service.
Serving residents in Armada, Chesterfield, Lenox, Memphis, New Baltimore, New Haven, Ray and Richmond.
